I’ve never had a big presence on Twitter, but I’ve been lurking around this place for a LONG time. Couldn’t hurt to start contributing to the ecosystem again with all the other new flora and fauna. I’m still making things, but now focusing on textile art, specifically chainstitch embroidery. Here are a few pieces I’ve done so far!

Really love these heavy jeans, but the length was causing them to hang poorly. Opted to remove 2” from legs and add 1/2” hem.

Close ups from my FIRST embroidery at the Royal School of Needlework! We had to embroider a GIANT stitch sampler that was designed by an embroiderer in the year above. Second pic shows my first attempt of long and short stitch.Happy times for me, it was the first time I had stitched on or heard of a slate frame and had to learn to stitch with two hands. Loved every minute.
