Personal opinion: This may be a little weird since we know close to nothing about this guy but I honestly think he's very cute. One of the few Maulers whose design I like, and it's even better knowing he's the inkeeper at Oak Inn! Like, it's such a staggering contrast??? He looks so good in a suit tho! Just look at him being all prim and proper and fancy and then look up at the battle pic where he summons bats and reveals your weak spots to all your enemies.

Captain Diana Mallory (2539 - Age 22)

A Captain in the ranks of the Arcadian Patrol, Diana defies her Earth-born mother, Clementia Agricola. Abandoning her luxurious terran home and familial wealth, she follows in the footsteps of her uncle, Chief Bishop Mallory, and her late brother, former Deputy Chief Gianno Agricola. 

Broadly seen as an exceptional officer, many dually attribute her similarly exceptional rise in ranks to her family connections. Though she is often teased for her high-class lineage, she has learned to let the remarks go rather than try and argue. Believing actions speak louder than words, Diana is committed to proving her excellence in service as both an everyday public servant, as well as an expert marksman of the agency's Ranger division.

Like the overwhelming majority of Arcadia’s city-born residents, she views the people in the planet's jungles with prejudice, considering them to be bandits, raiders, and terrorists. An identity born by the planetary insurrection decades ago, the sentiment has recently been revitalized after a rise in desperate acts by jungle-born Arcadians to secure supplies vital to their survival.

Though she is mostly satisfied with her duties, she has a known obsession with a particular jungle warlord called the Coyote. Despite never directly attacking the city or the Arcadian Patrol, being responsible for at least over three hundred death, and likely hundreds more, made him a priority one target. Her brother Gianni was the leader of an assassination mission, which resulted in all nine officers being killed.

In spite of rumors claiming the Coyote was killed only weeks later, with no evidence to back them up, a widespread fear of the figure is still persistent among the jungle even after four years. Suspecting the Coyote is the only warlord capable enough to be able to unite the rival gangs in the jungles, she independently investigates his past activities and listens for any hint of an impending return, in spite of the assertions by both the Council and her uncle that the Coyote is truly dead.

As the people of the jungle begin to set aside their differences, band together, and strengthen their efforts, the Arcadian Patrol faces a harsh reality of being neglected by the UEG. Between withering personnel numbers and a fast-decaying pool of resources, faith in the agency is falling fast among the public and planetary council alike. With the colony rapidly descending towards civil war, Diana finds herself more and more willing to push the limits of her authority, hoping to find a path to peace for the abandoned colony.
