I really dig @jmreynolds' version of Carl Sanford in Wrath of N'Kai. Makes one want to heavily feature the Silver Twilight Lodge, and the whole darn game between rival sorcerers and secret societies that seems to always be going on in the background of Arkham, as a major focus for the AH RPG whenever I get to run a full campaign of it.

I gotta get me some more Silver Twilight Lodge in the Arkham Horror fiction, though! Not sure where else they're featured, but I'll poke around and see if I can find more of those folks. I have a copy of the ol' Shadows of Yog-Sothoth Campaign I can use as a base for them, but I do imagine the AH and CoC versions of Sanford and the Lodge are different.

Arkham Files - 3# —

"Bruce. Bruce, please!" He called, hoarsely. The empty room had no response to give him.

Blood dripped further down his throat as he continued to yell, another spasm of coughs shaking his mangled as he choked, trying to spit out the blood that'd filled his mouth after more of the Joker's beatings.

Spittle flied, landing with the plink of a stained tooth on the grimy tiles. Spots danced before his eyes, creating shifting figures in the darkness.

His head was bursting, kept in place by his arms, hung up to the ceiling. More coughs wracked his body, broken ribs jolting with vibrant shocks of pure pain. He whimpered, trying to shuffle back on a broken foot into a better position, taking any semblance of rest.

Batman would come. Bruce would come. Dad would come for him. He knew it. He wasn't going to give up hope.

Not yet, at least.

Is Neal a dragon? That didn't come up in White Collar, but it's something he's puzzling about in my latest Arkham Files sci-fi fantasy story, Strange Signals. Arkham Files is a meta fusion series of Caffrey Conversation and the world of the Cthulhu Mythos.
