Another Princess Bride reference, this time featuring my Cousland, and much less funny. I always wanted the opportunity for Quinn to be angrier and meaner to Arl Howe, and this lets me pretend that she was.
I have wanted to do this scene as a comic with Quinn for literal years. The draft sketches have been on my corkboard since at least 2018. I remember being frustrated at the time when I tried actually drawing it because I felt like my skill level wasn't where I wanted it, so it's stayed on the drawing board ever since.
I did start doing a full color version, but I overthink my coloring/shading/lighting choices so I kept it simple. Isolated color. I like it better this way anyhow.
Quinn isn't my "canon" warden anymore, but I am still so incredibly fond of her, and she will always hold a special place in my heart.
