This entire interaction makes me insane for so many reasons… Like, despite the fanciful-ness of speaking to an RC helicopter, the way Apollo and Armie suddenly connect over shared familial situations is fairly sobering and is something I ponder a lot.

And there’s also Apollo kind of offhandedly speaking about knowing nothing about his mom, just a few cases after thinking about how deeply Lamiroir’s music affects him………

Every TGAA nationality is using modern day terminology for the names.

Ryūnosuke Naruhodō - Japanese

Kazuma Asougi - Half Japanese, half Han Chinese

Yujin Mikotoba - Ryūkyūan (Okinawan), indigenous people of the Japanese Ryūkyū islands. (Side note, they were their own kingdom [a vassal state to Japan in the Edo period] until 1872, Yujin was born in 1860 making him a Japanese citizen when he was 12, reckon he moved to Tokyo from there.)

Susato Mikotoba - half Ryūkyūan (Okinawan), half Mongolian, Japanese (cos she was born there.)

Asa Shinn / Jezaille Brett - Italian

Satoru Hosonaga - Japanese

Sherlock Holmes - Half welsh, half Turkish, English (cos he was born and raised there; modern-day greater London)

Magnus McGilded - canonically Irish

Barok Van Zieks/Klint Van Zieks - Dutch, English (citizenship)

Gina Lestrade - Half Scottish, but her parents never got it let her know that, did they?

Tobias Gregson - French, born there, raised in London from when he was 5.

Haori ‘Rei’ Murasame Membani. (I love all her names so I mushed them together. Rei is her nickname, Murasame is her middle name.) - She was born out of wedlock in Korea to Japanese parents, but lived in Japan since she was born, basically.

Benjamin Albert Harebrayne (like Haori, I really like all his names, so I made Albert his middle name that he goes by.) - Half USAmerican, half Finnish, born and raised in England. He just looks SO USAmerican it’s hilarious.

Courtney Sithe - Scottish

Maria Gorey Sithe - Half Scottish, Half Spanish, born and raised in England.

Genshin Asougi - Japanese

AA6: Obviously almost everyone you meet in Khura’in is Khura’inese, so I will not mention them.
