armin has anxiety. not that this is a quirk but i think he gets really anxious and overthinks a lot and this pairs up with his self doubt and insecurities more so than the common, getting anxious over everyday activities
skin turns red really easily, i don’t even know why i head canon this but it makes sense
summertime freckles. he gets little freckles around his nose in the summertime, esp when he gets a tan, it’s so cute, mikasa and eren tease him for this
reading glasses. he’s far sighted but a little bit blind when it comes to his near sightedness. also his reading glasses are blue light as well. yes he paid extra for it. yes he knows they aren’t as effective as everyone thinks.
and when he’s using them he uses his nose to adjust them and it’s habitual now, so he twitches his nose at random

he’s one of those people that watches movies in another language with no subtitles for absolutely no reason sometimes, but because of this he also picked up tidbits of languages like spanish, french, thai, etc.
nicknames inanimate objects. and talks to them. will say to his pillow, “hello, i need you. come here” and grab it, the knife’s name is michelin because that was the label on the box, toaster is toast-y, he’s weird like that <3
