Battle of Trost Arc - Armin freezes and experiences survivor's guilt after Eren's death: "You were never supposed to die for my sake."

"I survived for nothing." / "I wish I'd died back there with him! I'm worthless."

Battle of Trost Arc - Armin reflects on his relationship with Eren and Mikasa, loathing his weakness and feeling guilty that they (the strong) burden themselves with 'defying nature' by saving him (the weak).

Uprising Arc - After Armin's first kill, he experiences intense remorse and spirals, believing the woman he shot was a better person than he is: "Someone much more human than I am...I pulled the trigger so easily"

Return to Shiganshina Arc - Armin agrees with Floch that he should have died: "Commander Erwin is the one we should have saved"

Rumbling Arc - After snapping at Mikasa, Armin expresses survivor's guilt for being chosen over Erwin. In this moment, Armin believes Erwin could have prevented the (full) Rumbling.

Battle of Trost Arc - running low on supplies, Armin insists Connie and Mikasa take his and leave him to die by his own blade.

Battle of Trost Arc - Staring down the barrel of the Garrison, Armin feels like a burden on Mikasa and Eren: "at the moment of truth, I was a coward...I was always so weak. I still haven’t earned the right to think of myself as their equal...I’d only end up slowing them down."

Rumbling Arc - Armin volunteers to stay behind and hold off the Rumbling, facing certain death.

Armin is just like me fr, unfortunately. I need to learn how to calm my mind during interviews/social interactions so I can actually express my ideas on the spot. Because tell me why I stepped out of the interview and was suddenly able to perfectly put together a marketing pitch and say it aloud without a hint of strain in my voice. I am going to lose my marbles. I'm so tired of this. I'm sooo good but I just can't prove it when I need to >:(
