disclaimer: obviously there are many differences between the pairings, mainly the intention behind each. Catra and Adora were intended to be a canon queer ship and were written with explicitly romantic and sexual tension between them. Armin and Eren were not written to be canon and don't have that tension; but they do have an incredibly close bond and certain indicators typical of romance (physical closeness and blushing) that can easily lend to a romantic interpretation. I just like to draw similarities between my favorite pairings :)
