Thinking of taking a break from my KH fanfic to focus on something involving the X-Men, and I want a total of six POV characters. I have four pinned down but am having trouble narrowing down the final two, so I listed some options.

Ultimate X-Men (2024)

The second-best thing to come out of the new Ultimate Universe headed by Jonathan Hickman has been the X-Men run, especially its art. It's a soft, vibrant watercolor style that always looks beautiful, whether it shows the endearing, everyday interactions between young girls, the strong and dynamic action or some rather dark moments of reality and horror. The loose style is exceptional at portraying emotions, especially, with happiness turned to giddiness and anger turned to fury.

It's also a bold choice to focus on Armor as the focal X-Man. The setting was updated to Japan to make her a more-fitting main character, but whether the setting was chosen because of the character or vice versa I can't say. All I can say is I've been enjoying it and I always look forward to more.

(The best thing to come out of the new Ultimate Universe is, of course, Ultimate Spider-man (2024). He finally gets to be a dad!)
