So, guys, you remember this, right?

Well, those were concept designs I had for Telemarketing, however, I changed it. Tbh I feel like this won't have the same repercussion the first design did, but I feel more good with this. So here's the final design:

Feel free to share your thoughts/opinions, etc... Believe it or not, it was hard for me to change my original idea, but I wanted to do something that I feel better with and I thing I managed to do it haha

The most mortal God for Disability Pride Month! (Further detail below cut)

I know we don’t need more Disabled villains representation but Melkor’s my guy and I wanted to give him a walking stick post The Fingolfining to support his leg injury.

This stunning set of them really inspired me.

But then I remembered my hc Melkor has both his hands burnt by the Silms so he would need something that wouldn’t put weight on his tender palm, something more like a crutch.

So how to do that and still retain a look that was intimidating and opulent as Melkor is in all things? Well, make it a weapon of course - now he has a sword to brandish at anyone he feels isn’t respecting him enough!

Now the handy thing about armour is it’s made to support all your vital limbs, so I made the arm rest a gauntlet he could simply stick his hand into. Shaped to rest over the pommel of the sword in the most roguish way possible, of course. And naturally the ferrule is a dragon (/ chicken) claw.

I like having it all come apart for usage separately, and for changing up the aesthetic as desired. The whole stick is studded with gems and inlaid with gold for that “I’m the king of the world” feel. I won’t lie, I personally want this crutch now but I don’t have the strength of a Vala to use something this entirely made of iron. A nice carbon polymer version would be bitchin though.

I also figured Mr Mighty would have matching leg supports that were essentially extra jointed and splinted greaves that could be tightened or loosed as needed. When he’s wearing a full armour set none of this would stand out especially, but I drew him in a sheer robe because I love to sexualise him I mean for contrast. For contrast.

Any advice on drawing torso's with plate armor? I can never get their proportions right, especially if the body-type of the character in question doesn't match most images I can find

oh finally I get to talk a little about this!! so of course most of the torso harnesses one can find won't be flat and close to the body, but they'll start rounding out far away from the torso and then coming back at the waist towards the end of the breastplate.

this is the basics of a cuirass. and of course this works if the wearer has a standard to smaller bodytype like you mentioned. but what if my knight has a belly? thankfully we got some pretty good examples of armour made for bigger bodies, generous offer of King Henry VIII (this bitch gets mentioned in a lot of my posts lately and I'm not sure I like it)

as you can see his breastplate is flatter and doesn't sit too far from the body, and is also built out of interlocking plates held together by rivets (the MET article refers to this as "anime type" armour LMAO), so not really a single one-two piece plate like the prior examples. You could go with this historical option for purely plate, or you can always try your hand at adapting a single-plate breastplate on a fat body. I tried here:

of course there's plenty of torso armour options that are not plate like hauberks, brigandines, corazzine etc that are easier to fit on a big knight, if you decide to go with something else than plate. go wild designing!!

Oh look, I finally finished the lines on the Bois' armour...

Eventually, I'd like to block in basic colours. Erra's colour pallet is meant to have a lot of green and beige, where ass Joshi is orange and black.

Erra likes Dreugh Chitin (which has to be earned) and Josh likes his Boiled Netch Leather.

They're about to get fucked up in a cave!
