Going through old photos on my FB and came across this. I have an original post buried in my blog and even deeper, an ask/prompt that I had ‘blog armin’ respond to actually using this reference. 

I cannot say for sure if writers/chino saw our blogs/posts, I feel like they did when MCL tumblr was at it’s height. There was a lot of interesting things some of the bigger ones headcanon’d or wrote that kind of appeared later in the game. Even if they never did, it was just cool to be on the same wavelength ya know? 

I remember Armin in this episode and I just stopped playing and kept re reading it. It just made me so happy? Like even if they never saw what I wrote, it was just cool to have such an old school game referenced. Plus Garnet/Dagger is my favorite FF girl and a real hero.

I miss this kind of stuff in MCL.

Looking for a writer or two

Sorry the blog hasn’t been active. The fandom gets me down sometimes, plus work.

But perhaps in brighter news, I am looking for a writer or two (maybe more in the future but I don’t want a big amount and then have no direction). 

A close friend of mine and me have been brain storming an idea of making an dating game visual novel, non browser hopefully and released on a platform like steam. 

However, we both need help with taking our ideas and having someone breathe it to life, organize it and in general help us with making the main story, the routes, characters. All of this is starting from scratch ground level. 

The setting is like D&D fantasy worlds, so magic and cool races and all that jizz. If you are interested, please message me on here. If you’re having issues messaging me for whatever reason, hit the reply/reblog button and lemme know and I’ll reach out to you. 

Don’t need artists YET. I really want to sit down and have a good general idea of our story before we go making official imagery or anything.

Just thinking on tags

So I’ve seen a lot of people upset with the ranting in the MCL tag. I think that’s fair. Not the first thing you wanna see on your dashboard if you support the game. I’m guilty of this so I am going back and retagging posts (been a long time since I was organized honestly).

My thoughts are if it’s on a specific overall issue with beemoov, tag beemoov, just a rant in general on hsl or ul tag, mcl rant, ul rant or mclul rant. I don’t know each tag by memory, so in general apply some common sense. Perhaps we can add better official ones to use. And make tags for people to blacklist.

I’m going to keep the survey results in the mcl tag because it’s not inherently negative, I believe just because it’s results to that fan made survey. Hope that will be alright.

If you have ideas or wanna talk, hit me up in messages or asks. I understand that pain of fandom and not being in the same mindset as others and how it can feel and become toxic. I’m sorry guys, and I will do better to not take away your experience.

Just cuz my experience is soured and I’d like to get attention to change some aspects of the game, doesn’t mean yours should be soured either.

Survey is gonna be late

I meant to have it all done this week but work has been kicking my ass into overdrive. Either next week or the week of Thanksgiving (I am taking time off so most likely then), I will have it done. I’m really sorry. My job exhausts me to the lowest it can some weeks. I work as a CSR for a motorcycle distribution company and having angry old men call you between 60-120 times a day is just... ugh.

Would anyone be interested seeing a master list post with all my drabbles/short stories and maybe asks in one post? that way you can just read and not have to hunt anything down

In the typical depiction of Vishnu in Hindu iconography, the sacred river Ganges is always shown emerging from the toe of the Vishnu, while in Egypt, we find a very similar imagery associated with Amun. But who was Amun?

And how did a whole new patheon of deities, along with associated symbolisms, rites and rituals, with gigantic temple complexes dedicated to them, suddenly spring up in Egypt during the Middle Kingdom?
