Voltage Entertainment USA develops and produces the best otome made by and for a Western audience. Featuring strong heroines and LGBTQ storylines!

I glanced over the careers page for Voltage...with that long, vague list of things to do for the Associate Producer...I mean that’s pretty much like a startup company. I’m curious, what’s stopping the people working at Voltage from just leaving and making their own company? They have the knowledge, the tools, the connections to some really good writers. And, there’s really nothing stopping the readers from making their own routes/game either. The tools are all out there, most are free.

It’s just something I’ve been curious about lol. Cause it seems really fun to make your own visual novel game.

Would anyone want to make a Juliette route with me for fun? I can draw characters, backgrounds, and do the coding. And, probably also think of a plot and provide local information cause I live in the SF Bay Area anyways.

Looking for a writer or two

Sorry the blog hasn’t been active. The fandom gets me down sometimes, plus work.

But perhaps in brighter news, I am looking for a writer or two (maybe more in the future but I don’t want a big amount and then have no direction). 

A close friend of mine and me have been brain storming an idea of making an dating game visual novel, non browser hopefully and released on a platform like steam. 

However, we both need help with taking our ideas and having someone breathe it to life, organize it and in general help us with making the main story, the routes, characters. All of this is starting from scratch ground level. 

The setting is like D&D fantasy worlds, so magic and cool races and all that jizz. If you are interested, please message me on here. If you’re having issues messaging me for whatever reason, hit the reply/reblog button and lemme know and I’ll reach out to you. 

Don’t need artists YET. I really want to sit down and have a good general idea of our story before we go making official imagery or anything.

*sigh* I believe I make way too many of these lately and not enough answering asks... But I wanted to clarify that we do, in fact, do headcanons. If you want fluffy/ angst/ nsfw/ etc headcanons, then send an ask and we’ll get to it! 

Also,we are not looking for admins at the moment. Thanks, but sorry? However, I guess we COULD use some more WRITERS here??? Not admins, just writers because Admin Vivi and I are juggling those with our school work and well we can’t exactly do it all now can we? 

I’ll make an application of sort via google docs. I’ll post a link, and Admin Vivi and I will discuss them both so it’s not like I’M the only one choosing.
