do not support Headliner
I’m actually new to all the controversy surrounding Headliner. Usually I just stick to Tumblr and Reddit, which are both relatively ‘clean’ places for Bangtan content. I never knew about her violation of Bighit rules and her sasaeng tendencies prior to today.
But now that I know, I think I want to make it easier for other people to know about this, so that they can avoid accidentally supporting toxic behaviour. So, what did she do?
Back in 2017, she broke Bighit rules by posting pictures of JK outside of authorized photo-areas. There is a thorough article here. She apologized, but the fault in her actions remain.
Okay, now fast-forward to today, another fansite leaked some screenshots of a kktalk group chat on JK’s birthday. She had been keeping these screenshots since last year already. Honestly that’s such a distasteful act on her part.
The screenshots translations are here. A quote from @withluvyoon: this was leaked by the fansite BOY CALLED DESTINY. they sat on these screenshots for an entire year and when they finally leaked them, it was with a mocking caption.
Basically, the chat consisted of Headliner ranting about how JK didn’t reply to her gifts and that she wanted to beat him up. That sort of toxic mentality is sickening. I agree with what @hugseoks says: you can’t claim you love guk and then support someone who calls him a psychopath and threatens to “beat him up like a dog” just because they give you good content of him, that’s just not how it works. if you love guk and care for his well-being you need to stop supporting h*adliner and her stalker/violent ways for once and for all.
After that whole fiasco, Headliner released a statement, saying she’ll sue anyone who tries to repost the screenshots and that she isn’t a sasaeng fan and denies all her wrong-doings.
There have even been speculations that both bcd and hdl are scammers as well. All in all. Just don’t support either of these two fansites. And don’t buy merchandise from unofficial locations.
As ARMYs we need to be respectful of our boys’ privacy and be mindful that they are not obligated to interact with any of us individually, nor are we allowed to attempt to insert ourselves into their lives.
