Meet the Team: ICELAND

Now that squads have been announced, we can look more closely into the hotness of the individual teams. I mean, that’s what we’re here for, right? For each team, I’ll talk a bit about the squad, then highlight ten hotties (trying to be attentive to many types of hotness), doing my best to split them evenly amongst the field.

Everyone has been convinced Iceland’s success is a fluke since around 2015, and since 2015 they’ve been proving everyone wrong. It doesn’t matter that their coach is a part time dentist, and many of their players only recently went pro--they have team spirit, belief in each other, organization, and literally their entire country (as well as a lot of other folks) behind them.
