Meeting Aro|| Aro//Amelia
Amelia Isabella Brandon-Whitlock Cullen.
It was a very long name for any child, but Amelia was proud of it. Although she very rarely went by her full name, she liked knowing that her name was very meaningful. She never understood why her parents gave her the first name of Amelia, but she didn’t mind. She loved it. She thought it was the prettiest name, only second to Alice. Isabella, her middle name came from her aunt Bella, her mother’s best friend. Brandon was her mother’s maiden name, Whitlock her father’s name, and lastly her family name of Cullen. Amelia was the only daughter of Alice and Jasper Cullen. To this day no one knew how Alice and Jasper were able to conceive a child, especially after years of marriage. Although Carlisle Cullen, Amelia’s grandfather was always researching and testing Amelia, there was still no answer to how it happened. Alice and Jasper being grown vampires shouldn’t have ever had a child, but somehow, someway, Amelia was conceived and born.
Amelia had all the qualities a human child had, but she also had a unique mix of vampire qualities as well. Unlike vampires, Amelia was able to grow; therefore she required sleep and food, although she was able to live off a human or vampire diet, depending on her mood. She grew just a little bit slower than a human child would develop; something her Grandfather assumed was due to the venom in her system that would normally stop growth, only in her case it stunted or slowed her development.
Amelia was very much like her parents, perfectly mixed with both of their wonderful qualities wrapped into one. However, her looks came from Alice. She was the carbon copy of what Alice would have looked like at her age. When Amelia was younger her hair was very light blonde, eventually as she aged her hair turned darker like her mothers and eventually grew longer, but still had the soft curls like her father’s hair. Amelia had her mother’s eyes, only hers were blue. Occasionally they looked green which she got that from her father as well. In the end it didn’t really matter what Amelia looked like, or who she took after most because Amelia knew her parents and family loved her dearly. Jasper had always let her feel just how much she was loved, letting her know exactly how much she was cared for. Although Amelia didn’t have the emotional control of other’s like Jasper had, she was very connected to every emotion. In fact she was a very emotional child, not meaning she cried all the time, but whatever emotion she did feel, she felt it 100 times stronger than normal. So when Amelia was happy, she was very happy. Naturally she was a very happy child anyway, but to say Amelia “wore her heart on her sleeve” was a big understatement. Whatever kind of emotion overcame her, everyone was able to tell because it would be very obvious on her. As she developed more she learned how to read the emotions of others too, but she was able to read much more than that. Like her mother she had the “gift” of seeing the future too, but hers wasn’t nearly as developed as Alice’s. Mostly she was able to see things moments before they would happen, but she kept working on making better use from it with the help of her mother.
Today however Amelia was rather nervous. She was on her way to a very important meeting. Although she was rather excited about her first airplane ride, and the first time going to Europe, she was terrified about going to Volterra to meet the guard The Cullen family came to the conclusion that letting the guard meet Amelia, before finding out about her through rumor. As Carlisle, Esme, Jasper and Alice walked her into the guards castle, Amelia was shaking at near to the point of tears. Hiding behind Carlisle and Jasper's leg, Amelia peered around them to catch a glimpse of Aro. She whimpered and went to stand between Alice and Esme for safety. Carlisle and Jasper had offered to Aro he could spend time with the young Amelia to learn about her himself and find out on his own that she was no threat.
