if you are still doing the headcanons lets have aroflux louis who met nick when he was feeling gray-aro and wanted to go out with him, and he hasn't told nick that he's gray-aro so nick thinks that louis is allo and when louis wakes up one morning and feels aro he freaks out bc who knows how long he will feel aro for, so he tries to go about things like everything is normal but when nick tries to kiss him louis pushes him away and louis is like 'oh no i just ruined everything' + nick is hurt 1/2
2/2 so louis has to explain really fast that 'im aro flux and that means that my feeling towards romance or my romantic orientation fluctuate, and today im feeling aro- which means i dont experience romantic attraction, but all the other times i did love you, bc i was experiencing romantic attraction before. so please don't leave' and louis is afraid that nick is going to be angry but nick hugs louis and he's like 'im kind of confused, so we should talk but i think we can work it out.'
nick who doesn’t hate louis for it in any way shape or form; yes it’s new for him, but in the end louis’s comfort and happiness is what matters the most in this situation
louis being afraid that nick’s going to resent him for it, for not being Consistent in his emotions, and nick just looking him right in the eyes and saying “you could feel different every other second, and i’d still like you and respect you because you mean so much to me. and i know i won’t mean the same as you in Certain Ways some days, and that’s fine. that’s how you feel and you’re not wrong for feeling like that.”
louis who falls into himself more and more every day, who wakes up and tells nick “today’s a grey aro day” or “today’s an aro day” or “i’m not sure what it is right now, i’ll tell you if i figure it out”, and he likes that he can be so open and happy with him, in whatever way that is
nick knowing when to leave louis alone and when to sit with him and talk about how his feelings don’t matter right now; sure it’s Different to other relationships he’s been in, but that doesn’t make it bad
louis Owning his aroness, talking about it all the time and opening conversations with “i hate the allos” and nick just grins from the sidelines because he’s lucky enough to have seen louis develop into this, and it’s so amazing that louis let him in
