I feel like some people have a weird romantic fetish for aromantic people because I swear I've had multiple friends confess their feelings for me after coming out as aro.
One even said "I cAn MakE yOu feEL lOvE" like bitch no, no you can not.

The one thing I love/find funny about the Aro community (myself included), is how we are not able to notice when we spell the word 'aromantic' wrong or read it wrong. I am referring to when we post something aromantic related but we actually spell it as 'aromatic'. I don't know if you read that word as 'aromantic', but check again, it's a different word. I have read the word 'aromatic' as 'aromantic' multiple times. I also noticed some aromantic posts have the word 'aromatic' instead of aromantic. The spellings of both words are almost identical and it's like our Aro brain merges both words as the same and the word 'aromatic' doesn't even exist.
This is the AroAce agenda
My family: "we can't wait to see who your husband will be!"
Me: "I don't want a husband"
My family: "well, then we can't wait to see who your wife will be!"
Me, an aroace: "when did I say I want to get married?"
things that are better than romance: creating bad memes
I knew I was a cockroach!
Fuck yeah!
This is one of my fav memes i've made. Tells quite the story.
Listening to romantic songs yet not realising they have romantic messages or the song being completely about romance despite it being obvious strikes someone as stupid or just aromantic. I'm claiming this as an official aromantic thing.
