After getting back from the supermarket, I spent some time cleaning and organizing everything. Washed all the produce, then packed them neatly into containers. Doing this helps everything last longer and makes life a little easier later on.

I also portioned the meats before freezing, so I don’t have to thaw the whole pack every time. Just take what I need, and cook.

Small things, but they add a sense of calm to the week ahead.

Actually, what’s in the photo is just part of it — there was more off-camera, quietly waiting to be put away.
