Let's talk about Phu

I've gathered my thoughts, wits, and jaw and I'm ready to spill my thoughts about today's eps in various posts and screenshots. I'd like to make this first post about our beloved Phukan. In his first scene we literally see him wear a heart (2 hearts actually) on his chest.

And that really is just a visual representation of how much of an open character Phu is especially now that he knows for sure he's falling in love with Cir. He showed a lot of courage, understanding, strength, devotion, and love this ep. Not many people take Phu seriously because they view him as such an innocent guy but he's shown us that he's not naïve or innocent or a baby. He is firm in his decisions, especially when it comes to Cir. He wants to protect Cir and help him heal and he wants to love Cir even if he thinks it's only for a short time and even if he thinks of himself as a stand-in for some other Phukan floating around out there. Look at him wearing another on of his 'I'M IN LOVE AND I'M OBSESSED' cardigans.

My favorite part of the special episode was when Stalker Phu ran into a trash can, hid behind it, and then pretended to be a cat.

I’m still firmly in camp ‘Cir is having real visions’ even if Cir is in denial himself because of Jin. Why would he believe Jin is psychic? Why would Jin *be* psychic is this wasn’t actually a supernatural show? Why would Jin let a fucking delusional stalker around his friend? This episode confirmed that Jin’s supernatural powers are real, so I can’t get behind the theory that Cir is just crazy. Plus, that dream was so fucking not normal, that was a vision. Just the imagery in the opening convinces me that this is a supernatural show, not a psychological dark romance.

Hermit Prints — Missed Fortunes

This project was for the story Missed Fortunes by Tris Lawrence (@tryslora).

It is part of Welcome to PHU, a web serial about the students who attend Pine Hills University, a fictional liberal arts school, and the folks around them. It’s about magic, and love, and football, and music, and taekwondo, and just about anything else that college students might get involved in. And magic. Did we mention the magic? Because in this world, ten years ago, the public found out that magic is real, and ever since then, more and more Talents have become public in the world, and Pine Hills University happens to be one of the schools that welcomes these magical students with open arms.

Missed Fortunes is the second story of the “Twinned” trilogy and can be purchased as an e-book and trade paperback through Duck Prints Press (@duckprintspress) or through most bookstores and libraries!

This is in the “6×9” format, with white paper and glossy cover options. The story has 131,029 words and the final book had 416 pages.
