Idk if the aliens would do this but I would destroy earth and its inhabitants quickly all at once so there was no room for philosophical debate over wether it was ethically right etc etc, maybe a month or two after the cold hard facts and consequences of my arrival have fully settled in, then id bring some earthling survivors to a proper meeting on mars and be like k now we can work together moving forward
