This is me as Aaron Michael Skolnick. Aaron Skolnick lives and works in this dreamy house. We drank bourbon and took these photos a few months ago.
I love the 60s and so does Aaron. He’s done at least 120 different Jackie O drawings and paintings. The self-portrait above (Aaron as Jackie) knocks me out. Lately he’s been making work based on images of the Civil Rights Movement and those burning crosses that I love.
Aaron recently had a show at the David Smith gallery in Colorado.
Aaron also started a blog and curatorial platform a few years ago called NEW BAROQUE. New Baroque organizes exhibitions with young artists and collaborates with cool people to make nice stuff. SHOP HERE.
