kay, i just gotta say this ‘cause it’s seriously bothering me.

JUST ‘CAUSE CLINT CHOOSES A BOW AND ARROW AS HIS MAIN WEAPON, IT DON’T MEAN OUR BOY IS THE “USELESS AVENGER”

just watch the first avengers movie, I mean we actually see him go head to head with black widow, and they’re pretty evenly matched. and we know from Tasha’s interrogation of Loki that Clint was sent to kill her. Clint is good enough that SHIELD was confident he could kill the Black Widow. 

and yeah sure since he has his bow he could probably take a sniper’s position and do it that way and i suppose you could argue an unfair advantage there, but he didn’t kill her. Clint is so skilled that he was able to incapacitate the Black Widow and drag her ass back to SHIELD to convince her to be his new BFF. After which the two of them went on some incredibly bad ass butt-kicking missions together.

so if clint is useless, so is natasha. i know it can be fun to joke on the little bird muffin that is barton, but we should also give him his dues.
