☀️-- Going out on a beat, tracking leads and connection, interviewing, writing articles - it was something to keep him sane. Something to give him some semblance of normalcy. A taste of home even if this place was far removed from it. Familiar but distant.
At the moment, though, with his bag carefully hitched around a shoulder, that tall frame was folded in on itself and crouched slightly in one the aisles of a small convenience store. He was looking in a rather low mirror. His glasses still weren't anywhere to be found (the understanding being that they had been confiscated alongside his powers as he could, in some way, earn them back). Even if he didn't necessarily need them or the relative service they provided by obscuring his face here where nobody seemed to have heard of Superman... Clark had grown to feel rather naked without them on his face.
He was trying on a few cheap frames. At least having a backup would be nice. Maybe, if he never did get his regular set back, he could figure out how to re-engineer the face-muddling effect with these. He made a face, looking at himself.
Clark switched out for a different pair, black and somewhat square. They looked similar enough to the ones he was used to and he adjusted them slightly.
