It's Christmas fucking eve and my mom and 12 year old brother are watching Resident Evil of all things

This accidentally turned into a rant but

My mom said that my little brother couldn't bring me to school because the place would burst into flames the second I step in. She's probably right but what I can tell you is that I would smack his "history teacher" with a bible. She believes that the Great Flood made the Grand Canyon, which is made of sandstone so it would've been washed away, and the flood happened on the other side of the world in Turkey, not the United States of America. Your white Christan ass isn't that special! She also said "the Bible is the only source of accurate historical information" which makes me want to do very illegal things!

I'd love to tell her, "You ask for money in the name of God, and Jesus literally flipped tables after finding out people were doing that. The way you live your life is literally a disgrace upon your God's name, Mrs. Whateverthefuckyournameis! That and Jesus wasn't white, he was middle eastern and needs to be represented as so!"

I'm very sorry for ranting but I really need to get this out. My mom keeps calling me selfish and saying that I say horrible things to her, but I don't remember saying those things. Yes, I got frustrated and said "what's the point" when she asked where the tree should go bc we hardly ever have Christmas on time, but that was days ago and I was tired, but she's still using it to attack me. And if I say I'm sorry, she says it isn't genuine enough or she blows me off. I really don't know what to do. I feel like I'm a horrible person. I can't even defend myself bc it's also seen as me trying to justify my actions. I can't talk to my therapist bc she's still recovering from surgery (and she'd just say the same thing anyways) so I really don't know what to do anymore.

I feel like we as a society should make more of a distinction between messy rooms and dirty rooms

I know they are often used a synonyms but I'd like to seperate them:

DISCLAIMER

This is not meant to shame anyone for the state of their room, just a distinction I think we should have.

Messy means there is stuff everywhere, most of which belongs in the room, but hasn't been put away (clothes, books, bags, toys, etc.) this would not take that long to clean.

Dirty means that there is also stuff everywhere but it is stuff that doesn't belong in the room or should be put in the trash. (Dirty dishes, food, containers, wrappers, drink cans etc) This would take longer to clean, because it is more than just putting stuff away. It could also be if there is dust or dirt or stuff like that around the room, not necessarily separate then the first example

Most people's rooms, if they haven't been tidied in a while would be messy but not dirty.

istg if i end up committing toaster bath its gonna be because of my fourth period class. We have a senior leadership class and its literally pointless. They're making us write mock letters asking someone to write a letter of recommendation for college applications. Sure thats useful for the ones who are going to college but its like they don't give a shit about the ones of us that arent going to college or don't know what we're gonna do after we graduate.
