There's more than one way to completely break a person... The Mason family finally get their revenge on Sarah for Jeffrey's death. Sarah's Spot, her second home, burning to the ground while she stands there frozen.
You know, when I first watched Community I was closer to Annie’s age at the beginning of the series, and I was like “what’s the big deal, if she and Jeff like each other, it’s all fine.” Now I am closer to Jeff’s age at the beginning of the series and I get it. If I was attracted to a nineteen year old, it would freak me the hell out too. He really was looking out for her. He didn’t want her to have any regrets.
That being said, if the movie does not make them canon I will set Dan Harmon’s house on fire.
copypasting this from my previous post as an in-general post for the MtMB / Mario the music box fandom as a whole, especially when I've been seeing really bad tldrs and misinformation in some places
Also, I say this as someone who has been a fan of MtMB as FAR back as the very first trailer (referred to as a PV) in 2015, Jessica's behavior was utterly abhorrent and the news of what happened has been utterly devastating. A little girl lost her father because of Jessica.
I wish nothing but peace and justice for the victims involved, and that Jessica faces full consequence for her actions.
Also, please allow Team Ari time to grieve, and do not harass them about the future of the game. I wish them all the luck in the future but I myself will not be supporting the series going forward.
From my original post (and before anyone complains, all listed names are public):
Jessica Cruz-Guzman, aka CorpseSyndrome, the creator of Mario: The Music Box, is a murderer.
On December 18th, 2025 in the very early hours of the morning, Jessica would be the cause of a house fire that would land two male housemates, 44 year old Stuart Blair, 46 year old Michael Slater, and herself in the hospital with heavy burn injuries. Stuart later succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
Three other victims were present at the scene but none of them were injured. A woman, Stuart's 11 year old daughter, and Jessica's support dog, Link. Please bear in mind the fire is no accident, as it was later "alleged" / confirmed to have been intentional.

On January 3rd, 2026, Jessica was officially charged and will remain in custody until her hearing in May 2026. Article: Here News video: Here
On January 5th, 2026, Team Ari, Jessica's dev team, released their statement that Jessica has been banned from the team's discord server, permanently removed from the team, and had her ownership of MTMB and Team Ari revoked, of which was transferred to another member.
Extra details as given by Team Ari & Jessica's ex partner Ognik:
Jessica is facing the following charges: Murder, Attempted Murder, Arson, Property damage, and three unnamed charges. Facing a total of 7 overall.
Jessica has admitted over the phone to Ognik that she did, in fact, douse (threw the opened bottle at him) Stuart in isopropyl alcohol and set him on fire. As well as tried to justify it.
The cause of the fire was started from an argument between Jessica and Stuart, Jessica already had the isopropyl and the lighter, threatening to use both items. The argument was about Jessica telling Stuart to clean up after his daughter. Jessica was then "triggered" into attacking after Stuart had responded in turn "at least I have a daughter". (Jessica does in fact have a daughter, but she is in Ognik's custody. I won't be delving into them for their privacy.)
Jessica had already been trying to worm her way out with excuses that she may attempt to use in her court hearing: - She didn't realize she had the lighter - Tried to claim she was on drugs and not lucid at the time
Jessica suffered burns to 7% of her body. When Ognik tried to express sympathy to Jessica about Stuart's daughter, Jessica's only response was "She's gone through worse."
Humming along while he digs a shovel into some rubble.
Agdeppa catches up to him. "...What are you doing?"
"Digging up for some s'mores."
"This.... looks like the remains of a thoroughly burnt building."
"Burnt with s'mores.~"
"I know you're a scavenger with a disgusting palate, but-"
I was trapped in Jon Arbuckle’s body and his house burned down. The fire itself was realistic despite the fact that he was still 2D. For some reason I woke up terrified.
Lysandre: People tell me I have a unique way of lighting up the room.
Guzma: Okay, that's called arson, and those people are witnesses.
