Thinking that "professional hair dye" is considered professional because of some harsh chemicals in them or some shit. But then I discovered that no, it's actually just cuz of unnecessary gatekeeping. There really is no reason for it for a lot of "professional" dye brands. There is nothing about "respecting the craft" by gatekeeping better quality hair dyes. Putting dye on hair isn't a craft, it's about the way you put on the hair dye or mix them or whatever that makes it a craft. And it shouldn't be limited as an art form to those who go through getting an education or qualifications or whatever

I'm a little miffed that I posted a question about water marking traditional artwork in an art forum and the first thing I get are people saying.

"I looked through your profile and at your level, no one is going to steal from you".

"No one is gonna steal from you. You're still a beginner"

Just because I'm am amateur paper and pen(cil) artist doesn't mean I like being low hanging fruit for people to pilfer my practice sketches or doodles because they know my stuff is within the realm of possibility. An it most definitely does not mean I don't work in other mediums. This forum has only ever seen my pencil sketches because that's what I post there.

I'm there asking to HOW to watermark traditional art, I didn't ask if my artwork is worthy of a watermark.
