Preface to say - I wasn't looking for any of this.
I found some polyclay on sale.
I thought i might get back to sculpting.
I started a sketch for my reference.
I needed a new audiobook to listen to in April, so picked something that looked fun.

I realized I need a refresher on some anatomy so dug out a reference book.

I discovered that the audiobook was going to get a TV show, and had a wee look at some casting threads. At some point in the process Google showed me some stills of a young Patrick Warburton from a 80's movie called Dragonard

I got to drawing the feet for my sketch. Oh. No.

I was tidying my craftroom and found that i had a flat quarter with little hearts on it

Sigh.
I've given in.
He'll be roughly 65cm when done.

This is such a self-indulgent post and I apologize in advance. For the artists out there: how do you have the discipline to finish a project?? I've been trying to re-explore my dormant creative side these past few years, but get so bored after finishing just one element of a drawing. This is pretty much all I've managed to do in like 2 years.
What kinds of inspirations spur you on? What keeps you drawing/creating? What gets you out of a slump and creating again? (There are no wrong answers!)
