It's artists who are using their art and skills to earn an income.

By copying the art without credit it's as good as walking up to these artists at a convention and stealing an art print. Yeah, that's not going to hurt a corporation like Disney, but up-and-coming young artists? One sale can sometimes be the difference between eating a meal or having internet access. Posting uncredited copies is akin to cutting a hole in the artist's pockets. Delaney has been doing this for over a year that people have been aware of. Probably longer.

It's not about the fan art. It's about the theft. It's about all my friends who have been hurt because of Delaney's poor choices and lack of creativity. It was never deep to begin with, Delaney just kept digging herself deeper and deeper. It's time to stop.

Today in petty fandom drama:

Delaneyart strikes again in the form of artbykiff on instagram. Some of you may have already know.

I really dislike dealing with her but I do to spread awareness.

You see, I have a friend on instagram who draws gorgeous, and well, Delaney basically promoted herself in one of her drawings (like she does in every XS art on IG). My friend, kindly said she was not interested in her art. Ofc this got Delaney pissed. This is where I come. I put a like in my friend's comment and hell broke loose.

Apparently giving a like to an opinion destroys her fragile ego.

Then, she proceed to spam my inbox, whining about me being rude and because she commented and gave me likes in the past that makes her a good person, even more, that I owe her my sympathy.

Hell no, that's not how things work.

So basically I politely pointed out her flaws and why she was hated by the fandom. And what she did? Whined again because I told her nothing but the truth.

I can't believe how a grown ass 23 y/o white woman with a child have less english comprehesion than a peruvian that has english as a secondary language.

Anyway, at the end I blocked her as I already did in tumblr (delaneybugart).

I thoroughly encourage you to BLOCK HER for your own sanity.

Do not interact with her. Block and report. She keeps posting the same copied art as soon as it gets taken down. This is just a small sample of her BS.

If you wanted to make a point abt her art copying being bad, it wouldve been better to use an example of them copying an INDIVIDUAL'S art, rather than just that ratchetass company. There's a difference between copying a hobbiests art and the art produced by a larhe entertainment company that LITERALLY could not care less bc it doesn't effect them or their sales in the slightest.

I literally have a whole tag on my blog with more examples if you want them. 🤷‍♂️ I just chose that one because it was recent.

If you have a better example send me Delaney's original and the original she copied (or I'll spend the two seconds it takes to find her "inspiration") and post it with a new warning.

That example you gave... is not art copying/theiving. its clearly not even tracing bc the proportions are so VASTLY different. Thats just called using a reference, b.

It literally takes a second to Google "Tarzan and Jane vine" for that exact image she copied to come up and all Delaney did was change the heads. In order for something to be considered unique and original it must be 80% different from the source material. Changing some heads is what? 20% at most? Anyone, regardless of artistic level, can see that it is a blatant copy.

If she had posted her work side by side as I did then it would be a different story. It's the fact that she thinks she can get away with making such blatant copies and not have to give credit where it's due that frustrates me and many others to no end and why she keeps getting in trouble. Many of the artists she's copied do not want their work copied or reproduced in any way. Fom a legal standpoint, Delaney cannot post any of her copied art without the express written permission of those she is copying.

It's honestly only a matter of time before she gets into legal trouble–especially where Disney is involved.
