in your post about artbykiss, are you saying its wrong to use a pose as reference for art? Because thats all it seems they have done. Unless there is further proof of this copy and paste.
It's one thing to use reference in one's art. I have no issue with using reference and highly encourage it.
However it's another story to use reference and not credit the provider of that reference. Many reference and pose providers specifically state in their terms of use that one MUST CREDIT them if the stock or reference is used.
What Delaney/Artbykiff is doing is taking the original compositions of individual artists, copying them, and then claiming the art as her own, never crediting the original artists. That is textbook plagiarism.
Here are just a few examples of her thievery:
Original on the left, copy on the right.
Skyrawathi's original on the left, Delaney's on the right, overlay in the middle. There are enough areas of overlap in Delaney's copy to show that she has a strong sense of observation, however all the proportion mistakes and bad anatomy show that she has no grasp of drawing. The dialogue is exactly the same too.
XSreiki772's original on the left, Delaney's on the right. Again, the compositions and dialogue are exactly the same. Reiki shows a keen understanding of basic perspective in the first (top) panel of her comic. Delaney has no consistent horizon line or lines that converge in her copy of the same panel. For someone who is "an award winning" "Professional Anime Artist" Delaney really has no grasp of basic art concepts.
Original on the left, copy on the right. The poses are the same, the dialogue is virtually unchanged–it's just sad.
Original on the left, copy on the right. Once again, in Delaney's attempt to change up the composition and make it """original""" by adding elements she has actually made the composition worse and destroyed the focal point. In the original the eye flows from Dojo to all the monks then back to Dojo, a perfect narrative for the scene. Delaney's composition feels like several individual and separate elements and there is no flow, and what little there is leads the eye off the page. Something no professional would do.
This is just a small sample of what Delaney has done. She has hurt countless people by stealing their ideas and intellectual property and it will stop.
