I was in a fairytale mood today. I decided to call her Emma. I’m trying to incorporate more backgrounds into my pieces, and I think these light compositions are a good place to start :) Once again, have a great evening wherever you might be ;)

I was in a fairytale mood today. I decided to call her Emma. I’m trying to incorporate more backgrounds into my pieces, and I think these light compositions are a good place to start :) Once again, have a great evening wherever you might be ;)
Todays painting is called “Scarlett”. She started out as a quick sketch, but turned out to become both an inspiring but also fun painting. I hope you guys like her as much as me :) Have a great night!
Yesterday’s painting called “Doll Face” :) I finished this piece early this morning, and it was actually nice, not to be completely exhausted in the evening.
This week has been giving me quite the rollercoaster experience! It has been full of ups and downs, which has made it very hard for me to have time for painting. I managed to finish this fairy, just in time for the weekend :) Faires are such magical creatures, and I’m thinking of doing a series in the future. For now I hope you enjoy this peach/summer fairy as much as I do! ;)
This week has been kind of slow for me, but today I got back on track with this chick ;) I have wanted to paint a unicorn girl for quite some time now, and this is what came out of it. I hope to paint many more unicorn chicks in the future :D
I can’t remember the last time I drew a mermaid, so I think it was time :) She didn’t quite turn out the way I wanted, but I learned a lot about my technique when painted her and that’s the most important part. It was a good chance to remember that you can’t be perfect every time.
So I’ve spend the last three days on this beauty! It is a birthday gift for one of my dear friends, who happens to love orchids, just like me :) The piece is called “Serenity” and I wish that you could see the colors irl. It’s one of those times where I really can’t wait to save enough money to buy a new scanner.
I started a new series called “Unlikely Friends”, which consists of beautiful animals and their seemingly ‘unlikely’ friends, but really I think the title says it all :) If you have any suggestions to animals you would like to see, let me know! Since I’m still learning I should inform you that I did use a reference for the crocodile. Furthermore, I was thinking that I would make this an ongoing thing, so I’m thinking of making one, once a month.
