Hey, you know how I said I had a comic in the last Artemeta drawing I did? Well, that turned out to be way too difficult, so I just am posting the beginning and ending.

Yep, Artemeta is Meta Knight's older sister! I can't put Artemeta in either Kirby fic I'm working in, so I decided to reveal it quicker. It's actually the origin of the suffix of her name (the prefix is based on Artemis, Greek goddess of the moon and hunt), and I think Meta might have drawn his own title from her in universe...

Also, Meta has horns because I like Astrals with horns, and he doesn't have wings because I hc that Astrals have retractable wings. Dedede's also my own design. And yes, that drawing Arte is holding is by babey Meta... Also forgot to mention, but I'm kinda imagining that the OC tournament is being broadcasted on the news in the Kirby universe(s).

(feat: @ceragolor's Naos, @rosepetalmoon's Rosie, and @startistdoodles's Prisma... who I chose since they've all had interactions with Arte)

This was part of the comic, a little flashback of teenage Arte protecting babey Meta from the guy who killed their parents. I wanted to post it because I do think it's cool even if I scrapped it.

Looks like she decided to rip up some stuff for fun, but unfortunately for her she's decided to do it in the castle of @startistdoodles's Prisma Knight, and the queen doesn't really seem too happy about this whole thing...

Star and Prisma inspired me to create a Kirby OC of my own, so I had to draw some fanart! Though ironically, Artemeta is almost the complete opposite of Prisma in aesthetic and personality...

So @kirbyoctournament is a thing, and since a certain feral girl loves a good scuffle, I'm throwing her into the ring!

Name: Artemeta (She/Her)

Images:

Personality: "Rough" is definitely the word that describes Artemeta best. She loves a good fight, and thus has made her a common participant of Arenas. Though not all fights arise from friendly roughhousing, as she has a short temper and if aggravated, will issue a challenge. She does have a softer, albeit still rough, side, though. She will do her best to comfort others, mainly by telling people to "punch back at life" or something along those lines. Her overall confidence and boisterous temperament make her a fun person to hang out with.

Backstory/Lore:

An incident occurred in her youth where she and her family were attacked by a mysterious assailant. While her parents died, she and her younger sibling managed to escape, but she was separated from her sibling, and to this day she hasn't reunited with them...

As an adult, Artemeta spends a lot of her time searching for places like the Arenas where she can get a good fight. She enjoys just hanging out with people as well, often at taverns where she can rest after a fight. She hasn't left her home country before, but she has heard about a certain masked swordsman in Dream Land...

She's close with her foster family still, often taking time to visit them and tell them stories about happenings in her life.

Her family throughout history consisted of dark magic users, and she herself uses it in combat often. This is why she has claws and teeth, since Asteri don't naturally have those.

Sometimes she needs to get some excess energy out, so she will use random objects as scratching posts... even ones that aren't appropriate to use in that manner.

Her favorite food is strawberry jam.
