I got to see Artemis 1 launch from my campus!
It was so beautiful, and I'm so happy for everyone who worked on Artemis 1 to finally get to see it launch after so many delays!

Artemis is looking good! Launch happened at 1:47am EST, and all the separations have been going well so far. All four solar arrays have just been released, and will continue to deploy within the next 12ish minutes. Once this is complete, the Orion spacecraft will be able to run on solar power rather than just battery.
you can watch the progress here, they will be reporting on it for the rest of the night. I, however, am going to bed

Intanto oggi è ricominciato il "viaggio verso la Luna", con la prima delle missioni del programma Artemis, che se tutto va bene dovrebbe, nel giro di qualche anno (si parla del 2024, ma andrei cauto), riportarci sul nostro satellite. Molto probabilmente in quell'occasione vedremo anche la prima astronauta mettere piede sulla Luna.
Vi lascio anche questa clip video, perché rende perfettamente l'idea di quanto sia potente il nuovo razzo SLS, il più grande mai costruito dalla NASA
