I’m fairly certain I lost my Artemis earrings (they were just little arrow earrings from Charlotte Russe, lol), so now I have to look for ones to replace them, clearly.

I have a feeling that I will need a box of tissues near me for the new episode, or perhaps a straight jacket.
I have SO MUCH that I want to write about today's episode. I just don't know where to start...
So yeah... Childhood? Nope.
I keep seeing people post about Artemis Fowl and the last book...and it being 'their childhood' and the occasional post being all 'Lol I'm 17/18/19 years old and I read this, lol i r so old.' Gonna put this out there. I'm twenty-five. I didn't even touch Artemis Fowl until I was in my late teens, because I needed a series to get me through the breaks between Harry Potter books. I went through the ENTIRE 'Lost Years of Merlin' series before I even TOUCHED a Fowl book.
I have to say, I probably didn't start the series until probably 04 or 05, when I was scrounging around my Library for another series to get into. Yeah. Artemis Fowl wasn't my childhood. I wasn't even a child when the first book came out. So I can't really go and say 'OMG THIS BOOK WAS MAI CHAILDHEWD' at all.
What I can say, is that the story was so well-written, and the characters caught my attention so well that I eventually fell in love with the series. Sure, it wasn't instantaneous. I honestly didn't LOVE Artemis until The Eternity Code. When he lost Butler, it was just so riveting that I fell head-over-heels for him. The fandom was small, so I barely knew anyone who liked the series
Now I have a group of friends, not to mention followers, who love the series as much as I do. I've gotten other friends into it [one of them is thirty, and he loves the novels as much as I do now.] Artemis Fowl isn't a series just for young adults, it's one for everyone who wishes they could have a little more magic in their lives.
After reading the final book...I don't think it's quite over yet.
