I thought I’d do a small post on why I’ve decided to worship Artemis.
So, she has been in the back of my mind for awhile, since I first started practicing. I’ve always been the type of person to love the outdoors, and the wilderness, and especially deer!
Now, where I live, I see deer pretty often. But anytime I have her in my mind, one seems to pop up. When I was first thinking about worshipping Artemis, I saw 4 deer in a day. You may think that isn’t a lot, and maybe it isn’t. But for me to see 4 in a day, within probably an hour of each other, I took that as a sign. I knew almost immediately that I wanted to worship her. Now, it has only been a short time with her, but even so, I feel comforted.
An epithet I really have a connection with is Artemis Pheraea (of the Beasts), since I have such a love for all the animals, seriously. Every one. I LOVE animals with all my heart.
To me, it just... makes sense to worship Lady Artemis. She's in a lot of aspects of my life that I didn't realize before, and it's just a perfect match.
I'm so happy to be starting this chapter of my worship with Lady Artemis.
