Do Art For Yourself

I am a firm believer in doing art for yourself! Which is what was portrayed in the videos that we watched this week. With the Music I create, it always represents my emotions and my thought. I always try to put people in a new realm, intending on taking the listener to that place that I feel obsolete in, where they may relate in any way possible.

We also learn in the videos that nobody has the patience when it comes to new things specifically in the creative world, so everyone starts rushing their work, defeating the creatives process, which ultimately destroys the quality of the art.

I Feel I only realized the importance of Creative Development as a subject, and life tool, during week 2 of the 4th term. This subject has helped me experiment and progress in my field in ways that I could never imagine. I do believe if maybe more of the learning material that was involved in the 4th term, featured more throughout the year, the triggers for the importance of this subject may have gone off sooner. nonetheless, super grateful for the opportunity.
