#marchmeetthemaker - the image on the left was before I got my hands on it yesterday - now I know there’s too much light on it. It needs more details and those tonal values are just wrong. I think it’s time for a black and white shot to see what’s happening here. And to top it all, my husband said the colours look like an ice-cream. DAY 6 - Current challenge #21daysinmyartworld We must talk about the current challenge we are facing right now. Here it goes: When it comes to painting on canvas, I like to prepare them myself. I have done it successfully before. I am currently preparing all my canvases for my next series of paintings, but I have encountered a problem sizing the fabric... I can not get it stretched on the frame! (I use rabbit skin glue as size) and I can't figure out why! Is the rabbit skin glue very old? I have had it for a couple of years... Is it the weather? It has been very hot these days! Am I using the right proportion of water:rabbit skin glue? I am really frustrated right now. Sorry for the unannounced hiatus guys T^T but you know I couldn't have let BTS's one year anniversary pass by without me celebrating (for I'm the biggest army I know)!! I had other pictures planned and drawn out for this occasion but this is all I could muster T.T not 100% happy with it but..  my current skills won't allow me to do them the way I envisioned them T.T I'm still working on the art side of things.. there's some progress but still frustrated :O I think I probably need to stop drawing BTS for a while LOL or at least start some other design projects and not just draw fanart, I feel my design sensibility is severely receding.. I really need to get back to my roots and fundamentals.

random BTS aside but did you guys hear on a radio show, Jungkook say to his hyung going off to the military to "keep drawing"? HIS HYUNG DRAWS? like officially? I WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT KOOKIE'S OLDER BRO LOL DON'T YOU???
