What if Vivi and Mystery knew about Arthur's feelings, and they told us two years ago that "???" was coming back?
Alright so, I was searching for Lewthur stuff on Youtube and ended up with something pretty interesting.
The credit goes for 'queen of gravyfries', she's the one that found these detail and I came up with an theory.
Ok but so, what IS this, Max? In case you don't understand, it was kinda of an easteregg that maybe they put to tell us that ??? was coming back in The Future.
But let's start with this weird theory I came with.
The song that plays on the radio in the first seconds of Hellbent, is Every Note, the song that most of the fandom has relationated with Arthur's feelings towards Lewis (about an unrequited love and that Lewis left him behind meanwhile he was with Vivi). When Lewis comes close to Arthur, the radio changes, and before it plays "Hellbent", we can see five colors of the squad and ???.
Maybe this means that, Every Note is canonically about Arthur's feelings about Lewis and how he felt left behind by two of his best friends.
But hear me out! There's also the presence of Mystery color, red.
This can mean two things. Mystery was conscious about Arthur's feelings.
Or, it's an reference about that he's the only one knowing what trully happened, and, ??? color maybe means that he used those feelings to posses Arthur, and kill Lewis, like an thought of "It won't hurt anymore if you do this!" or something similar.
Now let's talk about the fact that the part of Every Note says
"But what did you tell him? I hope it aint the truth...",
So- what if Vivi KNEW about Arthur's feelings about Lewis, cause Arthur told her, but she didn't say anything and she just ended with Lewis. Arthur hoping that aleast she didn't told Lew, or in the case that Arthur told Vivi when she was in a relationship with Lewis, cause she was happy with him? She didn't tell him, and Arthur was left behind.
Now in the Hellbent one, they may told us 2 YEARS AGO that ??? was coming for Mystery, we can see how everyone's colors are present there, but let's pay attention to something.
Lewis and Vivi colors (cyan and magenta) are together, but, Arthur's yellow-orange is separating Mystery's red and '???' green. Which can mean that Arthur could be the Key on the next video, to end everything, cause it seems that he is the one who will save Mystery/Murder Mystery. After all,
He was the one who was possesed first.
He could sacrifice himself even so.
To stop everything once he remembers, because he wants Vivi and Lewis, but mostly Lewis, to be happy.
The amount of details is amazing, amirite?
But this is just a theory, so- who knows.
