Every time I watch (or even think) “The Last Dragonlord” I can’t explain how Balinor, antisocial cave-dweller, heard the name “Merlin” and went to fill the blank points deciding that the sick blonde guy must’ve been Arthur Pendragon.

And now it occurred to me.

What if perhaps it’s because he knew about the prophecies? What if he knew that a time would come for the Once and Future King - Arthur Pendragon - helped by a Merlin?

There is no other explanation for how Balinor knew that with a peasant named Merlin rode Uther’s son.

I mean, he hears “Merlin” and his face changes, he gets from distrustful to ANGERED, as if he already knew what to expect, with a “Merlin”.
