Spontaneous “caceroladas” (using a pot and a kitchen spoon as a drum) are taking place in Barcelona during daylight (we usually do this at night) in protest for the application of Article 155.

Polònia - Forget Catalonia
Today, Spain’s government, with the support of the second majoritary party and the agreement of the EU, has approved to start the procedure to apply Article 155 in Catalonia, with which they will assume direct control. The measures expected include: removing Catalonia’s elected president from office, taking control of taxes (of course) and police.
Omnium Cultural, one of the civic organizations whose leader has been imprisoned, recently made a video in English regarding our situation, but I don’t like, it, so I’m gonna share Polònia’s parody instead, in which the dramatically over the top woman of the original video has been replaced by an actress as Soraya Saez de Santamaría, Spain’s vice-president.
Have a laugh, and please share!
