But getting 4 and 9 actually makes a lot of sense, both types share the same crisis of lost of identity.

Difference being nines fear making an identity for themselves will cause an inconvinience for others while fours fear that between all theyve hidden they wont be able to find their identity.

A four wants to be authentic, wants to be themselves, a main issue is that theyve felt so rejected by society that theyve created comfort within the fact they are unlike their peers. If they loose that sense of otherness, that sense of identity? Then what is left? In the end that sense of comfort is a false shield to hide the fact more than anything they wanna be understood for who they are, and to be loved regardless of it.

While a nines loss of identity comes from the fact in order to not create conflicts, theyve watered themselves down to a point they can't even tell you who they actually are. Theyre easily influenced by the version of themselves other see, feeling reduced to just that. And by giving in to that version to keep the peace they quite literally loose everything they were.

Basically the difference between the lost of identity of nine and four can EASILY be summed up with Thomas and Kamala (which is why i say they should be friends)
