Well, thanks dawg. I admit I had fallen into that lunacy in the past a bit, mostly due to social pressure. And I think a lot of well-intentioned people have found themselves pushed further into this bubble just by being surrounded by people all doing the same thing to try and keep their heads down so they’re not next on the chopping block.

I don’t care for Wil Wheaton one bit but he’s getting cannibalized on Twitter right now for getting defensive at a Muslim woman who was clearly baiting him and again, I need to state that nobody is safe from this kind of retaliation.

There’s a lot of Jewish students in SJ circles facing severe antisemitism and becoming pretty disillusioned with the whole thing. This sort of purging of the ideologically impure cannot be sustained without collapsing in on itself.

I know there’s a lot of other leftists like myself who feel the same way; I get messages from them all the time. I think we need to start pushing back on this lunacy before we’ve completely alienated all of those except for a small, core elite running things. But that might have already happened.

Either way, it’s not good.

awww shucks, thank you so much! I’m really proud of this fic - since i’m not typically a writer, actually trying to sit down and write this fic for the polyswap bigbang event was incredibly difficult haha. I thought a couple of times during the event ‘oh no, what did I get myself into, 10k words is so hard for me, aaa!’ but Im glad I was able to see the whole thing to the end (with help from my bigbang artists ihasa and grubbutts, and my excellent Beta Reader :D)
