Not saying that people couldn't be annoyed with the spam, but Goose knows reddit. Her fandom was already not great with trans people, and reddit in general is always looking for a reason to tear transfems apart. The subreddit had moderators who were handeling the situation, there was no reason for Goose to tell a fan she was "ruining the fun for everybody" in front of the entire fandom.

You know.. It's actually nuts how many people think to counteract most fem/DFAB Zooble headcanons rooted in enbyphobia and exorsexism is going in the opposite direction for them. Instead of... learning and using neutral verbiage for him.

You guys can HC whatever DGAB Zooble is, but I think it should be stated Zooble explicitly see herself as gender neutral. So headcanoning that they exclusively experience either sapphic and achillean attraction from their DGAB, not their current gender identity and/or how their non-binaryness influences his attractions, along with depicting these binary attractions towards the cis-perisex characters only (ie: sapphic Zooble x Ragatha, not achillean or even achillean-sapphic Zooble x Ragatha) is rooted in not only enbyphobia and exorsexism, but also monosexism too!

Just because it's subversive: it doesn't mean it's now progressive.

mm. really chill and normal thinking about what being a normal student must be like in sunnydale. something is wrong with your school, your town. too many kids go missing, buried in one of the too many graveyards, and then their bodies are gone as well. left as a name in the pages of obituaries. no one talks about it. the principal covers it up, or the mayor does, or the us government. and we all know. we're all too scared to say anything. if we pretend it doesn't exist it won't get us. you say to your parents, casual, over dinner, hey, what if we moved? they look at you, you realise with dawning horror, in genuine confusion. now why would we ever want to do that? sunnydale's such a nice little town. you want to scream; I'M GOING TO DIE HERE. it dies in your throat. you swallow it down with your food.

Would love to know how you can become less uncomfy with ships (I don’t actively harass or anything so). I’m only uncomfortable with one ship and only because of one character and I just in my head feel that the character would be actively ableist and a PoS towards the other and also they’re canonically when they first meet are 14 and 18 (though that part I don’t really care much about)

you don’t have to be less uncomfortable with things you’re not comfortable with. I have things in fiction that I’m uncomfortable with and I just… ignore them. some people mute/filter out the tags, which is a great way of curating one’s own internet experience.

fandom isn’t about forcing yourself to be comfortable with what you’re uncomfortable with. you don’t have to be comfortable with everything. my advice is that you focus your time and energy on things you like instead

Decriminalizing sex work isn't a fix-all. It's not intended to be. What decrim does is protect sex workers from the harms of criminalization specifically. Poverty and violent clients won't disappear because of decrim, and their continued existence doesn't mean decrim fails.

decriminalisation enables sex workers to get recourse for shit that happens to them while working, without having to admit to a crime. It let's them have more access to the safety other workers have.
