Finally posting about my IHNMAIMS OC, a pacifist AI created to counteract AM, known as PM (or Pacifist Machine/Peaceful Machine).
Information (and doodles) under the cut:
Basically, PM was created by the surviving humans on some unknown colony (that may or may not be located on the moon). PM was designed to mimic humanlike emotions, and express sympathy to every living thing, organic or otherwise. Their idea was to create an artificial intelligence that could reprogram or potentially neutralize the Allied Mastercomputer and gradually undo whatever damage had been done. Or, at least, to prevent further issues. Of course, this was a foolish endeavor because not only was AM incredibly powerful and the Earth completely destroyed beyond repair, but AM would in no way be easy to reprogram or defeat, and if anything could pose a threat to PM's own programming.
It is unknown if PM is sentient or not, but regardless, PM was programmed to have a deep intrinsic fondness towards humans in order to prevent another disaster like what happened last time. Unlike AM, PM was also provided with a physical body that it could move around in. Although it is not human, it was also equipped with rudimentary sensors that allow it to "feel" it's surroundings by sending electrical impulses to it's central system. Yet more functions that it possesses that AM does not. Yet more reasons for the Allied Mastercomputer to despise everything about it. In an effort to save themselves more trouble, humanity had inadvertently doomed PM by design, just in a completely different way.
Now, in the event that PM fails in it's task of reprogramming or neutralizing AM, there was a failsafe put into place. An adaptive line of code, if you will. One that, in such an event, was designed to be able to form an entirely new consciousness- Known as Protective Malware, sharing PM's acronym. Protective Malware, or PM2.0, was designed to finish the job. To get into AM's systems somehow, and "fix" it. (This in itself would likely prove to be a failure, as AM could easily just merge with the invading AI or eradicate it from existence but oh well, they tried their best didn't they.)
