It was hard to surprise Pride as it was hard to catch him off guard. Pride; the embodiment of man's greatest sin, with his (limited) omnipresence, was not one to be particularly shocked about anything.

So why did the boy before him fill him with unease? There was something different about the blond, something off. And that bothered Selim. However, he refused to let his mask of indifference drop when he spoke to the other.
