"You're kind of adorable." Kim laughs, looking over at the other, before impulsively leaning to drop a kiss to their nose. Returning to her original position, she regards them. "Like a puppy."

"I'm bored."
Forgive me father
Miles, age 16, always had a sweet spot for helping people being bullied out. He could never find it in himself to just let the kid stand there and be picked on. He was an anonymous protector of sorts, so the day he joined a new 'cool' clique and learned they were the ones going around bullying the 'nerds', he wasn't so ecstatic. For the next month of his life, he was the one just watching. Watching the assholes kick at lanky freshmen and steal random amounts of lunch money and retainers from pockets. One day he snapped and punched the leader of the renowned 'crew' straight in the nose. He feels guilty that he hadn't stopped their actions sooner. He knows he could've prevented the bloody noses and black eyes that all of those poor kids got... Sometimes he looks back on that singular portion of time and a pang of guilt rushes through his body, and he can't quite pinpoint why he still feels bad after all these years...
