user INDIG0TEA owes me 108$ for a commission i paid for  over 2 years ago. i have gotten nothing to show for in this entire 2  year timeframe, other than a base sketch of body gestures and nothing  more. 

back in march of 2021 i posted an ad in the dainty server  NSFW channel looking specifically for trans friendly nsfw artists to  draw my 2 trans ocs. newt approached me and i was thrilled to get to  commission them.

i paid for this commission on march 18 2021,  and i got a vague example of what the commission would look like on the  26th, and was super happy about it! and then 2 months pass with nothing.  i pop in for an update and get told not to ask about updates. i come to  them several months later asking if i can change characters in the art  /i offered to pay extra for this because i know it is not always  appreciated AND I ALSO STATED THE CHARACTER DID NOT HAVE TO BE CHANGED  IF IT WAS TOO MUCH WORK/ and they were okay with it. they approach me  some months later telling me they have a concept to run by me later that  day they wanna show me. i am never shown a concept. june of 2022 they  approach me telling me they no longer plan to do the commission and just  plan to refund me. it is now may of 2023. i messaged newt on may 18th  on toyhouse because after dm'ing them on discord and deviantart with  radio silence i was told to reach out on here. i still have no  response. 

no excuses or justification will satisfy running me  around in circles over a fucking commission. if you are going to take on  the financial responsibility of hosting commissions, you must be  willing to fucking deliver them OR AT LEAST KEEP IN CONTACT WITH THE  PEOPLE THAT YOU HAVE EFFECTIVELY STOLEN MONEY FROM. i see non commission  artwork posted the entire time during this 2 year waiting game,  personal artwork, prompt artwork, and that's the most crushing part. no  amount of excuses or explanations could justify pulling the rug under my  feet for 2 fucking years.

this was crossposted to toyhou.se, where another user commented receiving the same sort of bullshit for nearly 2 years as well so i KNOW this is no longer an isolated incident with this artist.

At this point, I've accepted I'm not getting a refund, or a suit, so here we go. Birdtooth studios has scammed out of roughly $600 USD. They owe me a partial suit from 2018, which I paid in full, and even paid a rush order for. They have not finished my suit, and never post any updates except for them going to cons and working on their own fursuit. They constantly use "mental health problems" as an excuse not to work on what they owe. and have now vanished off the face of the earth. If im the first in their queue, I can't fathom what the others are going through. Please do not commission them. Oh, and they also stick their bare feet into their fursuit heads!

A new scammer web-shop fursuitforsale.com pretends to sell fursuits. With photos of fursuits that they did not make and do not own. My fursuit Usagi is not for sale.

Guys, can we take a second to talk about plagiarizing, and how it’s not ok to mimic another artist’s work? Lbfromtheblock / Fluvvcostumes /Likwidsunshinestudios has come into the spotlight (yet again) and has been caught plagiarizing not one, but two separate well known makers: Splinterfox (foam base) and Myrtle'smonsters (slime/drippy bandana) In addition to these blatant cases of copying, Lbfromtheblock’s latest fullsuit customer recieved a nightmarish product that was falling apart out of the box. LB has denied any sort of responsibility for the unwearable condition the buyer recieved. Despite thorough documentation of amateur stitching, seams and sewing. Lb has also been politely contacted by some of these plagerized artists dirrectly, only to block them and turn off comments on the pieces under question. All of these cases have been well documented on Fluvvbusters Instagram (owner of said sub par fursuit) and I encourage the spread of this information. Before others are tricked into doing business with LB.

ARTIST BEWARE !!!!! instagram user @/nico_lunar traces and copies art and bases and claims them as their own!! please DO NOT commission from this 'artist', as their work might be stolen and traced from someone else. their deviantart is lunartiger66.deviantart.com ...... i entered a contest for grump.studios to draw their oc. i was looking in the #/grumpsentry tag and looking through the other entries when i came across nico's art and thought it was really good. i then checked their page and noticed that they had BLATANTLY copied my work. i spoke up on their post saying that it looked /a lot/ like the sketch i had posted 4 days earlier in the grumpsentry tag, which they would have seen since my posts are public. they continuously denied having traced my art, even though i had basically proven that they did. everything about their 'original art' looks EXACTLY like mine. they couldn't give me the evidence to show that they started their artwork at least 5 days before i put my sketch into the tag, but they could not. they kept saying that they didn't trace and then accused me of being a bully via dms. i tried to be reasonable but was unable to because they then proceeded to block me on here and on dA. while i cannot prove that all of their work is traced, they use bases w/o credit and their style is /incredibly/ and unrealistically consistent, which is sadly prominent in people that trace. please feel free to share this but please do not attack nico. kindly letting them know that tracing and claiming is bad is alright but please do not spam their inboxes or comments. thank you. #furry #fursona #furryart #artistbeware #arttheft #furryfandom #furries
