thing one: my fav colour is....hard to explain!!! i love lots of colours and its sooooo hard to choose!!!! although if i'd have to pick my favorite???? uh....yellowish orange! like its golden but not completely yellow nor completely orange. just in between!! you see me use it a lot in drawings bcs i like it :)
thing two: i don't really have any concrete pairings besides johnkat. I've never been interested, except for the few pairings i was more than lukewarm to, so i'd say terezi <3 nepeta, dave <> vriska (i can explain jHKLJDFHLKAJSDHFLJ), and the classics rosemary and meowrails. nothing's really off my list (yknow besides incest/abusive ones) except for davekat and for some reason vriska and gamzee lmao. idk why it hits a bad vibe but it does?? i think it might have something to do with terezi and gamzee's canon (re-canoned? un-canoned?) relationship, but otherwise its just on the no-draw list lol.
thing three: i actually haven't done an OG project in years!! BUT i used to have this comic series that i did in middle school and in high school that i developed a WHOLE world for it.
it was called "Artistica" (original IKR?)

my OC's were inspired by my IRL friends at the time, but I changed up to be original because I didn't want to connect the two directly, realizing it was odd to have "characters" of people. But they were inspired, if just initially look wise, and their personalities are definitely NOT the people they were after anymore.
in order from that first picture: TB (yes her name is literally two letters) and her younger brother Liam, Zake (pronounced Zach), Ben, Jeb, Jakobė (pronounced Jah-kob-e), PB (a hyphenated nickname), and RP (also a hyphenated nickname).
The story went like this: TB and her brother, and her friend group, went to school, had fun adventures, and just lived their lives! I did the whole series traditionally, and it spanned over three notebooks filled with comic strips. Artistica was initially about the funny hijinks I could draw about: TB living in a "modern" world within a magic era, with things like alternate universes, my fav YouTubers at the time, and gender swaps, etc etc, though, as time went on and I grew older, I developed more and more of the story.
TB lives alone with her brother. But wait, you say, isn't she in highschool?? And yes! She is! I didn't develop it until later, but TB's parents died when she was younger, in a car crash. TB's case was a bit bizarre for her world, and so there was incidentally a government program being developed to help kids grow up alternative to the foster system, so essentially she and Liam gained a "Guardian" to watch over them, check up on them, teach TB life skill for when she'd become a legal adult, and remain close by (like literally has an office in her school!) so TB would always have access to her anytime.
So she struggles with balancing her life in school, home, and suddenly, these strange visions and memories pop up in her head...TB lives in a world with magic, but not everyone is magical. TB and Liam aren't supposed to be, but they are, despite their parents being humans. It happens sometimes, but unknown to TB, their parents were developing some theories before they passed...
So as time goes on, her friendgroup starts to crumble.
Ben and Zake are TB's closest friends! Zake near the beginning has a crush on TB, while Ben has a crush on Zake. TB helps Ben get closer to Zake, and eventually, they end up going out over the series! But near the end, Zake has a sudden personality change, and he starts acting unlike himself..
Jen and Jakobė are dating when the series starts, but over time and Jeb begins treating Jakobė badly, he breaks it off with her to let them cool down and learn about themselves. Jeb goes through an arc discovering her kinder side, and Jakobė learns who he is without Jeb. They come back together with an understanding on how to treat their relationship better (and themselves).
PB and RP are each other's best friends! ...except when RP gets a boyfriend. And then PB begins to feel like a third wheel. Their friendship grows tense and they start fighting with everyone and each other, and the tension in the group grows even more.
And TB? Well, TB tries to balance this all. Her friend group is crumbling, her magic is growing more out of control, and caring for a little brother isn't the easiest (even if he is the sweetest little brother she could ever have). Her friends involve her in fights, even once taking a jab at her parents (they know about them, ouch) and start neglecting their friendship with her (except Ben and kinda Zake).
Luckily, though, one good thing happens to her: she meets a new friend outside her friend group. His name is Mike, he's new, and he's very sweet to her! It's a brief break from all her drama.
