Have I ever told you about Artist’s Editions for Little Monk & the Mantis? Since the book’s release in 2012 their increasing rarity has allowed me to spend more time on customizing each addition to the collection. This year I plan to try something different. I’ve set aside two books which will receive a complete re-inking. I've resigned myself (a while ago) to the fact that I will probably, most likely, never own or be able to afford one of those gloriously BIG assed, beautiful #ArtistsEdition #Books/#Tomes. As an artist, I love seeing the raw scans of the #OriginalArt- all the blemishes, the #WhiteOut, warts and all- in the same way that I #GeekOut over #SpecialFeatures and #DirectorsCommentaries on #DVD/#BluRays. So I knew I wanted to do up a fake, aged comic book #CoverArt of one of my nearest and dearest original characters- Tuna Albacornelia Tulip for today's prompt! I am in the midst of working towards creating Tuna's very own "#Mansion Trilogy" #ComicBookSeries. It's my dream to make the #Comix look completely #Retro- like a beat up, ragged, well read, dog eared old Harvey or Dell comic book. M For Mermaid Jonny Hannah Little preview from The Captain's Alphabet for which Jonny has created text pieces for the facing pages of his nautical prints. There are 100 special editions with all sorts of extras, then 850 additional copies. Hoping that a few preview copies will sneak out for @elcafest but the launch will be in early July.
