At this point I couldn't believe the dork went and researched plants to impress Jamie even though I already damn well knew Jamie, also a dork, did the exact same but flexed her education knowledge to Dani's co-workers, I mean who's worse? The answer is they both are.

This was such a pleasant reading experience, while I do very much love your fully heartbreaking stories angst with a happy ending (and a ton of emotional smut and a hilarious instagram profile) is truly the greatest fic genre of all time and this final chapter was just perfect.

Finally I wanted to say I'm happy that this fic seems to have become a favorite for everyone because I know you struggled writing it and I'm really proud you were able to finish it, you deserve all the nice feedback and praise in the world, not so that it keeps you writing but just so you know we appreciate everything you do, thank you so much ❤️

Thank you! I’m really glad your final assessment was “pleasant reading experience”, because that was my goal all along--there was just a wee bit more angst than I originally planned along the way. But much like with Childhood Best Friends/Fake Dating/Tattoo Artist--these are all AUs I hoped would feel like a warm blanket, by the end. Sometimes, it’s just nice to have that kind of ending to come back to.  Still truly blown away by the response to it, though. Blown away, and thrilled. Really glad I didn’t end up scrapping it after all.

That moment in the rain, how do I describe it? not only a romance classic, but the fact that they're feeling so alive and in love, both caught in the most real thing they've ever had for the first time in their lives and neither are allowed to let the other know...

And it all went downhill for them after that, but to me in the best way, this is what I've been waiting for the whole time, I just love the way this kind of angst brings a poetic beauty to a story, the yearning, hidden emotions, both thinking it's one-sided, that's just the greatest thing to me. And seeing how desperate people are for chapters to drop I'm probably alone in this but the wait in between makes it so much better, I know it's not your preferred writing format but it works so well with this one in particular, you made the right choice splitting it.

It's amusing how I'm rambling about feelings over a fic that's like 70% smut but I do think this is set to become one of the most emotional fics you've ever written and I'm thrilled to see what comes next.

At this point I don't have any more ways to say how amazing your writing is so I'm just gonna say you have the midas touch with words, thank you for sharing your beautiful work.
