Making postcards each day has been therapeutic. No regard for my usual style, but experimenting with new media and subject matter, or lack there of. I’ve found that often the way to get your mind of yourself is to do something for someone else. Not easy to do in isolation, so doing what I can do. Also, I haven’t forgotten about my featured painting of the day. At 5 am when I couldn’t sleep, I wrote this long post about meditating ➡️ and then realized that the painting was already sold. I’ll have another hundred dollar painting in my stories today, I just need to make sure I actually have it. 🤣 #artistbrain #sleepdeprived In the meantime, if you know of someone who is more isolated than most, whether elderly, sick, recovering, or maybe a healthcare worker, DM me or tag them here and I’ll send them one. #artpostcardsconnectus (at At Home) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_C0lRUpatd/?igshid=15ndhnwfvef39
